What is an Ultraportable Laptop?

First came mainframe computers which were as big as a whole room. Desktops miniaturized computers so that we could bring the computer home and keep it on our desk. Laptops came next and made computers smaller so that they could be carried around. Laptops are available in various sizes the large screen ones go up to 20 inches or more. But the world of technology these days is all about miniaturization. You have every gadget that is less than half the size it used to be a decade ago. 

Things are no different in the computer world desktops were replaced by laptops and now there is a demand for smaller laptops or tablets.
Ultraportable laptops are extremely slim rather than being small like netbooks are. They do not have small screen like netbooks do and are fully featured.

Sony Vaio SB series- The Sony vaio sb is one of the best ultraportable laptops available on the market. The laptop has a 13 inch screen and weighs only 3.7 pounds. It has an Intel Core i7 processor which has a base clock speed of 2.7 GHz. It also has 8GB of memory and integrated graphics card in form of Radeon HD 6630M. It also supports BD ROM and has a DVD burner. It features USB 3.0 ports. It also has HDMI output. This laptop was built for performance and beats any laptop available on the market.

Asus U36S – It has a second generation Intel core i5 processor running under the chassis and has 4GB of memory. It also features NVidia GeForce GT 520M graphics card and 640 GB of hard drive space. It also includes built in WI-FI and Bluetooth. Windows 7 premium is run on this laptop. The laptop measures just 1.1 inches at its thickest part. It offers a native resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. 

Dell Vostro V131- the dell vostro runs on Intel core i5 with a 13.3 inch screen that provides a 1366 by 768 resolution. The laptop is a little heavier as it weighs 4.1 pounds. It can run on battery power for about 7 hours. It has integrated webcam and dual array microphone. It also has the smallest finger print scanner you will ever come across and is right under the keyboard. The keyboard and track pad looks attractive as it is outlined by chrome which makes it look expensive.

Ultraportable laptops are very popular these days with consumers.
